"LIVE LONGSHOT HUNTERS: Did You Know.....? The Lone Icon Angle"
We've invested over 15 years comparing our reports to race results
to find patterns and discovered something that is extremely simple yet very effective for finding
value priced (overlay) hot horses.
This is one of those patterns/angles that led to a bevy of "Live Longshots" for use in exotic wagers like pick 3 and pick 4.
The angle goes as follows: When only one horse in a race shows a certain profit angle icon it can be very
effective.
Our "profit angles" are such things as OVERLAY TRAINER, HOT JOCKEY, SUCCESSFUL JOCKEY/TRAINER TEAMS
both long term and short term, EXCELLENT WORKOUT, etc.
Only one horse in a race can have the certain
profit icon attribute to qualify for the Lone Icon Angle.
This plan is very sound and makes perfect sense when you think about it.
When only one horse in a race
shows a certain proven pattern for successful overlay winners it is worth taking notice to!
Some of he icons, on the reports, can each be listed for multiple horses if they fit the criteria.
It is when
ONLY one of these exact icons (displayed below) show up on only one horse in a race,
and the near post time odds on that horse are "generous" compared to FCR True Odds, it becomes a special
horse to use in the pick 3's, pick 4's, daily doubles, exactas, trifectas and superfectas.
Look for a horse in any race at any track that is THE ONLY horse in that race with
one of the following icons below.
Actually, you don't have to LOOK for them. We have a "Lone Icon Angle Report" for
every track, every day on the member page!
The Lone Icon Angle reports for each track every day are on the member page linked as "LONE-ICON":
We have limited, to our preference, these Lone Icon Angle horses to those with morning line odds of
5-1 or higher.
It is
suggested to concentrate on those who actually go to post, or who are near post time, at odds of 8-1 or higher.
Example: A horse can have multiple profit icons in a race but has to be the only horse in the race
that has the Overlay Trainer icon.
Another Example: A horse can have multiple profit icons in a race but has to be the only horse in the race
that has the Hot Jockey icon.
How a Lone Icon horse qualifies for "Live Longshot" status: To qualify the Lone Icon horse should have
near post time odds of 8-1 or higher. And the higher the odds the better.
The following profit icons are sorted from top to bottom by Impact Value which is a figure that
dictates how much more often an angle will score as compared to random chance alone. The top being the highest:

Within its last few starts this horse has matched or exceeded par for final time at
today's class level and distance, a strong attribute.
Known as special trainer talent,

another icon that can get some very large mutuels.

This is a big plus factor.
